A Nikah in paradise, done quietly, done right.
Four hours from Dubai. Visa-free. Fully arranged.
Muslim couples can have an official Nikah in Seychelles, conducted by the local Imam at the mosque on Mahé or at a beach venue, and pair it with a civil marriage for worldwide legal recognition. We arrange both, plus the Embassy attestation for the Gulf.
The Nikah, element by element
| Groom | Muslim, born or converted to Islam before the ceremony. |
| Bride | Muslim, Christian or Jewish, following the People of the Book principle. |
| Wali | The bride's father or male guardian gives written consent. If he cannot attend, another male family member or the Imam can serve as Wali. |
| Witnesses | Two male Muslim witnesses. We provide them if you do not have them. |
| Mahr | The groom presents the agreed gift to the bride, as arranged between the families. |
| Venue | The mosque on Mahé, or a beach venue of your choice. |
| Imam interview | An in-person meeting with the Imam is required before the ceremony. We coordinate it for you. |
Have the Nikah and the civil marriage, same trip
A Nikah is recognised under Islamic law and valid across the Islamic world. For everything else, visa applications, property, inheritance, registration in non-Islamic countries, pair it with a civil ceremony conducted by the Seychelles registrar. Both can happen on the same day, the Nikah at the mosque or on the beach and the civil ceremony on the sand. You fly home with both certificates and full coverage everywhere.
Which one is yours?
Both of you are Muslim
The simplest path. The Imam conducts the Nikah with the Wali's consent, and we recommend the civil ceremony alongside for worldwide recognition. Same day is routine.
Muslim groom, Christian or Jewish bride
The Nikah can take place under the People of the Book principle. The Imam may serve as Wali if the bride's father is not present. Combine with the civil ceremony for legal coverage.
Muslim bride, non-Muslim groom
A Nikah cannot be performed unless the groom embraces Islam. The couple can instead have the civil wedding, fully legal worldwide with no religious requirement. This is a common path for interfaith couples from the Gulf.

Nikah questions, answered
Can Muslims get married in Seychelles?
Yes. Seychelles has an established Muslim community with a mosque and a local Imam on Mahé. The Nikah can be held at the mosque or at a beach venue, and we coordinate everything including the required Imam interview.
Is a Seychelles Nikah recognised in the UAE?
Yes. The Nikah is recognised across the Islamic world, and with the attested documents package plus UAE Embassy attestation the marriage is fully registered on your return to the Gulf.
Can the Nikah and the civil ceremony happen the same day?
Yes, we arrange that routinely. The civil ceremony on the beach with the registrar, the Nikah with the Imam, and you leave with both certificates.
Is halal food available?
Yes. Mahé has halal shops and restaurants, particularly around Victoria, and most hotels arrange halal catering on request.
What does the wedding itself cost?
The civil wedding packages are the same for every couple, €1,645 on Mahé, €1,990 on Praslin, €2,090 on La Digue, everything legal included. The Nikah arrangement is quoted with your requirements, one message and we lay it out.
