Marry on La Digue, where time slows down for you.
Pink granite, an ox cart, and the world's most photographed sand.
There are almost no cars on La Digue. People move by bicycle and ox cart, giant tortoises wander the gardens, and Anse Source d'Argent glows at the island's edge. A complete legal wedding here is €2,090, everything included.
Unlike anywhere else on earth
La Digue is the island time politely ignored, and marrying here means your photos need no filter and your ceremony has no traffic noise.
The slowest aisle in the world
Take a traditional decorated ox cart from your guest house to the ceremony. La Digue does not really do cars. It does shade, bicycles and the most cinematic walk down the aisle you will ever take.
Granite found nowhere else
The pink granite boulders framing La Digue's beaches exist nowhere else on the planet. Anse Source d'Argent, sculpted from them, is one of the most photographed beaches anywhere.
Honeymooners' island
Stay one more week. La Digue is quiet by design. No nightlife, no rush, just golden hour at Source d'Argent and the sound of bicycle bells. The honeymoon writes itself.
Four wedding beaches on La Digue
Anse Source d'Argent
The world-famous one. Shallow turquoise water, sculpted pink granite and soft late-afternoon light. If you have seen one photo of Seychelles, it was taken here. The location surcharge is €100 and worth every cent.
Anse Patates
A small, intimate cove on the island's northern tip. Granite rocks, gentle waves and very few passers-by. For couples who want the ceremony entirely to themselves.
Anse Sévère
Calm, swimmable water facing west, which makes it the island's best sunset ceremony spot. Easy to reach, lovely at low tide, made for barefoot vows.
Grande Anse
Wide, dramatic and powerful, with rolling surf and a long sweep of white sand. For couples who want their photos to feel epic rather than postcard-pretty.

The logistics, honestly
Fly into Mahé, then take the Cat Cocos ferry via Praslin. The crossing takes around 90 minutes all told, and it is a lovely ride. We help you plan the connection and the timing around the formalities.
Once you arrive there are no cars to think about. The island runs on bicycles and ox carts, your hotel is minutes from everything, and the pace resets itself within an hour of landing. Our partner agency SeyBooking can arrange the stay if you like.
What couples ask about La Digue
How much does a La Digue wedding cost?
€2,090 per couple in 2026, reduced from €2,720. The registrar, marriage certificate with Supreme Court apostille, all government fees, the return taxi transfer, venue decoration, bouquet, cake and sparkling wine are all included. Anse Source d'Argent adds a €100 location surcharge.
Is the ox cart real?
Wonderfully real. A traditional decorated ox cart carries you to the ceremony at walking pace, and it is the single most photographed arrival in Seychelles. Ask us for a quote when you book.
Which beaches can we choose?
Four. Anse Source d'Argent, Anse Patates, Anse Sévère and Grande Anse, each with its own character. We advise honestly on season, tide and light for your date.
How do we get to La Digue?
Fly into Mahé, then the Cat Cocos ferry via Praslin, around 90 minutes in total. Once you land, everything moves by bicycle. It is part of the charm.
