Each album below is one wedding we photographed, in the order it happened. Getting ready, the walk to the ceremony, the vows, the register, the cake, and the hour on the beach afterwards. Pick an island, or start with the jetty on Félicité.
A gallery of single frames shows range. An album shows what you actually receive, which is a day told in order with nothing hidden between the good frames.
These nine couples married on Mahé, La Digue, Silhouette, Félicité and Round Island, at resorts from Six Senses Zil Pasyon and Four Seasons to Constance Ephelia and Hilton Labriz, and on a public beach at Baie Lazare with nothing but a bamboo gazebo. We chose the frames the way we edit for a couple, and left out only the handful that show a marriage register or a name. Every caption describes what is in the photograph.
